American retail companies such as Amazon.com Inc. wants to market in India, where are about a billion consumers. Walmart Inc. has acquainted an Indian online retailer this year and Amazon has utilized phantom sellers due to no-warehouse policy for foreign based firms. However, India-based firms are favored by Indian government which tries to protect their industries including not only retail and e-commerce but payments and transaction information. This try to centralize all the information gives disadvantage to foreign investment firms.
