Bloomberg Politics/Kim's Peace Push Gives Trump Leverage to Finally Win Concessions

Kim Jong Un, the North Korea leader, constantly demand the peace declaration to unfreeze his action boundary. Donald Trump, the U.S President, is still thinking how he would make the best deal while he could get the headline-grabbing fame and the next election. The U.S. asks North Korea to complete destruction of nuclear facilities and potential tests. However, last month, follow-up meeting with Pompeo and North Korea was cancelled because the U.S. thought North Korea's action was not fulfilled as agreed. Official declaration of ending of the Korea war will be hugely meaningful so every party takes it cautious. Officials said there are more issues to clarify; how to accomplish complete denuclearization,  from related countries including Russia and China, and USA military position in Korean peninsula. 

As long as all stakeholders can earn some pies, no one will reject to declare peace in Korean peninsula. I think North Korea would give us assurance how they dismantle their key weapon and not hide anything left. But still, the U.S should give them some margin before pushing them to clear all up with understanding nuclear weapon is North Korea's only hope till now. I agree the leader Kim Jung Un has different mindset from his predecessors but he may struggle as it's the very first try. hope everything goes fine at the end.
